Getting Started on the UA HPC Systems

The HPC computing systems require a faculty sponsored HPC account. The policies governing the appropriate use of the HPC accounts is detailed in the Policy section. All users and sponsors are responsible for reading and understanding these policies before creating, sponsoring and using an HPC account.

The Accounts section provides instructions for creating and sponsoring HPC accounts.

The User Guides provide system specific information and helpful hints on how to get started using the HPC systems.

Jobs are run in "batch mode" on the HPC systems using batch queues and allocations of time (cpu-wallclock-hours). Users must be familiar with the Batch Queues and Allocations in order to use the HPC systems effectively.
